Hello students, staff, advisors and alumni I am Isaac James Jahraus. I come from the city of Houston in the great state of Texas. I was adopted into a loving family that has supported all of my decisions. I have lived in Fargo, Scottsdale, and Golden Valley, Minnesota is where I call my home. I have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly in all types of communities. The good being inclusiveness for all. The bad and ugly being racism, narrowed mindedness and violence. The adversity I was faced with has made me into the man that I am today. I was able to overcome and achieve my personal and professional goals. Currently I am at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota which is part of the Metro South Region. I will be finishing up my Associate of Arts this summer with plans to attend Metropolitan State University.

My name is Cecilia Damian and I am running for Vice President. I am the second youngest with 4 brother, I may be 20 but to them I will always be their baby sister. I am currently attending Inver Hills community college and I'm an active member of the student senate. I have always been very involve in advocacy work. I've had barriers in my life but I always have considered them more as obstacles I will overcome. I use my personal dedication and motivation to get things done. For me when there is a will there is a way. I grew up understanding the meaning of hard work and will always have that with me.

Before I tell you why I feel I have the qualifications for the position, I would like to share a little bit more about myself with you all. I am a current student at Century College in which I hold the President position for the Student Senate. I like to think of myself as an honest hardworking individual that would do whatever it takes to complete a job successfully and on time. I believe that I have many valuable experiences that I would love to share and apply to this position. I plan to put these leadership qualities to work as best I can. I also plan to use these qualities to create new ideas in which the organization could discuss in order to benefit the students. As stated before, I plan to do whatever it takes to do a thorough job as Treasurer. I hope that you all will have the confidence in my leadership abilities.

My name is Chelsea Self, I am 30 years old and I live in South West Minnesota with my boyfriend and our dog Jake. I have served 8 years in the Nebraska National Guard before moving to Minnesota in 2012. I currently attend Minnesota West Community and Technical College Pipestone where I am pursing my Associate of Science in Nursing. I have already completed the Medical Assistant program and the Practical Nursing program. The thing I enjoy most about Nursing is that I get to help people when they need it most, whether it be mental or physical needs during their hospital stay. I am currently President on the Pipestone Campus and Platform Committee Representative for the Minnesota West Region. I love advocating for students and helping them with struggles that they might face during their college experience.

My name is Dillon A. Forcier. I was born and raised in Duluth, MN. I grew up with two older brothers, when they weren’t beating me up, they were actually pretty loving. My grandma is a first generation immigrant from Argentina. My parents are self made business owners. I graduated high school from Maple Wood Academy in Hutchinson, MN. A small town about the size of Brainerd, MN. My most favorite thing to do is rock climbing. It provides a rush like mountain biking. But I get to use every single muscle in my body. Not a day goes by that I don’t obsess over taking my rope apart and tying it back up to make sure there are no kinks in it. All in all, my hobbies include anything that brings me outside and connects me with nature.
