LeadMN provides internship opportunities to students who attend Minnesota's two-year community and technical colleges so they can get more involved in certain issues or campaigns they care about. LeadMN also has a full-time staff that helps guide the organization year-to-year.

Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Intern

LeadMN Get Out the Vote (GOTV) outreach plan will consist of engaging with community & technical colleges across Minnesota. With hundreds of new students every year at over 48 campuses in the state, we must educate and encourage them to actively participate in the electoral process.

The intern will work with volunteers to engage students in pledge drives, community outreach, and voter registration initiatives. They will work closely with LeadMN staff to engage students and community members in our GOTV campaign. We are looking for three interns who are passionate about civic engagement. Associate Development Officer and Scholarship Manager 

This is a full-time position with no direct staff to manage. A great candidate must love working with students, thinking outside the box, have experience, or be interested in expanding LeadMN’s major gifts with our donors and cultivating new relationships with potential donors. The candidate should also be able to market our scholarship opportunities and work with campuses and our partners to ensure that students are aware of our scholarship opportunities. And finally, work with the Executive Director to find new funding streams for LeadMN programs and student leadership conferences.
