Martina Ngaima

Public Health Fellow

My name is Martina Ngaima, and I am a degree-seeking student in the field of psychology at the University of Minnesota. I will complete my degree in May and from thereon, I hope to continue furthering my education. I am eager to make a positive impact on public health and community well-being during my time at Lead MN. I'm excited to use what I've learned to make a positive impact because I believe education can make a difference, and I want to understand more about how people think and how communities work.

In the future, I hope to use my knowledge and experiences to contribute to helping others as well as furthering my own goals. My goal is to play a part in making things better for everyone. I hope to do this by using my past experiences as well as the current knowledge I will gain here as I continue my education journey, hopefully onto law school.

During my free time, I like to browse shelves at local bookshops and pick up interesting reads. I am an avid movie and tv show watcher; I enjoy watching all genres and am not afraid to branch out. I also like to participate in calming activities such as Yoga and Pilates, which help calm and center me.
