The United State Department of Education has released a grant to support college childcare programs at colleges. The pandemic has shown the real challenges that student parents face and these grants are an opportunity for colleges to ensure that these students get the support that they need.

The funding is designed to support the following priorities:

    Priority 1: Supporting Students Who Are Single Parents.

    Priority 2: Increasing campus-based child care for infants and toddlers.

    Priority 3: Providing Wrap-Around Services for Low-Income Parents in Postsecondary Education.

There are 38.5 million in grants available that will range from $90,000 to $1,000,000 with average grant around $465,000.

The deadline is July 11, 2022.
