During August, LeadMN held Incoming Leader Training in the southeast corner of Minnesota at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center in Lanesboro, MN. Cabinet and staff were on hand to help guide students, provide necessary information and to facilitate trainings to help students grow both professionally and personally.

Student leaders from each region gathered to create their 2017-18 work plan on the goals and campaigns that their region wants to complete. Strengths were discovered during the StrengthsFinder Assessment and student were taught how they can best utilize and grow those strengths. The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) was presented to students and they all had the opportunity to take the inventory and talk with a specialist in the field.

Students are now prepared and excited for the coming year! There is a lot that they want to accomplish, but it starts small. One month at a time.
