Welcome Dr. Clyde Pickett as the new Minnesota State System Chief Diversity Officer
Dr. Clyde Pickett has been formally named as the new Chief Diversity Officer for Minnesota State. Dr. Pickett comes from the Community College system of Allegheny County in Pennsylvania where he served as the special assistant to the president for diversity and inclusion. DACA Updates and Resources
Minnesota State has updated its “Guide to Supporting Safe and Inclusive Campus Climates” with key information about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. LeadMN is sharing this document to ensure that students have access to the appropriate resources. The guide explains the DACA program, includes information about the impacts of the DACA rescission memo, and discusses the role of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on campus.

Gear up for Equity at the Minnesota Student Leadership Summit!
LeadMN will be launching an equity focused social media and photo campaign at the Minnesota Student Leadership Summit. The goal of the campaign is to start a system-wide conversation about equity, diversity, inclusion, and other topics of importance to our students. Students will have the opportunity to participate and have their voice heard through multiple ways.
