What is #BandTogetherMN

#BandTogetherMN is a social media/photo campaign focused on raising awareness about equity, diversity, and inclusion within our campuses. 

Our goals

• Raise awareness for equity and inclusion within our system
• Share student stories and honor lived experiences 
• Promote diversity within leaders at LeadMN and Minnesota State 
• Provide resources for equity and inclusion to all students 

How to Participate 

Post a photo or message to Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #BandTogetherMN 

Some ideas for posts include:

• Why is diversity important to you?
• What is it like to be you on campus?
• How we can advance equity on our campuses?
• What has been your experience with equity or inclusion?
• What does diversity look like at your school?
• Share a resource related to diversity or identify resources you need
