Votes & Vision: Spring General Assembly 2025

Come together with students and advisors from across the state for our annual Spring General Assembly! Participate in workshops that focus on building your leadership, professional, and advocacy skills; connect with student senate leaders, other advisors, and vote for incoming LeadMN leadership.

Registration for Votes & Vision: Spring General Assembly is free! We have a limit of 150 attendees for this event. Registration is open until April 4th or capacity, whichever comes first. 

While the event registration is free, the cost of the hotel rooms and getting to the event is not covered by LeadMN but the responsibility of individual attendees.

Keynote Speaker

Join us in welcoming keynote speaker Tabitha Montgomery, who will be sharing her knowledge and experience to help us improve and develop our skills in Communicating with Confidence. 

For more than twenty years, Tabitha Montgomery continues to approach and center her work by demonstrating a deep respect for people, an aptitude for eliciting honest reflection, and the ability to foster impactful collaboration with joy. 

Within a for-profit context, she has led marketing functions, lines of business, and teams focused on strategic innovation for several Fortune 500 companies including Target and Best Buy. She actively consults on a range of projects and initiatives, while serving as the Executive Director for the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA) and Co-Executive Director for the Flourish Placemaking Collective in Minneapolis.

Through these various leadership roles, she has amassed a broad, strategic, and tactical skill set that allows her to richly contribute to process, policy, governance, and program cultivation within a private and public context. 

Tabitha has spent more than two decades tapping into her gifts of management, communication, and visioning to serve a wide array of people, businesses, and organizations.
