9:15am: Breakout for training and planning with the group you will travel with for the day
10:30am: Group photo on the Capitol steps
11:00am-4:00pm: Individual legislative appointments
Lunch vouchers will be provided for the Rathskeller Cafeteria within the Capitol building

Early bird registration deadline is December 31st at 11:59pm. That cost is $100/student. Standard registration deadline is March 13th at 11:59pm. That cost is $125/student.

If you are interested in sharing rooms with other colleges for your students, please complete this google form. As we receive notifications, we will pair advisors together to make booking plans.

LeadMN will arrive with students on Sunday, March 22nd. There will be a group activity that evening (sightseeing, meet&greet, dinner, etc) with details to come.

11:30am: Round Robin Conversations (topic selected by students during event registration)

9:15am: POD session one (learn about legislative meetings and prepare talking points)
10:45am: Round Robin Conversations (Higher ed access and attainment topics)
12:30pm: Lunch and team building activity with your POD group
1:30pm: Department of Education briefing
2:30pm: POD session two
Wednesday, March 25
8:00am: Departure to the Hill

Notes:
LeadMN will be organizing group outings each night. They will include sightseeing, walking tours, opportunities to meet with students from across the country, dinner, etc. They will require pre-registration and that information will be shared about a month before the event.
Food that is provided during the Summit will be breakfast and lunch both Monday and Tuesday. There will be take away containers for folks to take leftovers with them for dinners. The reception on Monday night will also have heavy appetizers and small plates.

There is no registration fee for the Spring GA and the following food will be provided – Friday snacks and dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch and snacks.

There is a block of rooms reserved for students and advisors attending the event. Rooms are $175/night. The deadline for the block registration rate is March 10th, 2026.
The cost of travel and lodging is not provided by LeadMN but the responsibility of individual colleges and/or students.
