Luana Cristina Stumm is an international student at Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota, pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Originally from Brazil, she holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s in Professional Education, a graduate degree in Management, and a Master’s in Development and Public Policy. Luana has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning a place on the Dean’s List and receiving competitive scholarships.

 

With over a decade of experience in the Brazilian public sector, Luana has worked in legislative, community engagement, education, housing, and financial services, honing skills in leadership, advocacy, and cross-cultural collaboration. Currently, she is actively involved in the Student Senate and the Multicultural Club at Ridgewater College, seeking to engage with students and contribute to a vibrant campus community.

 

Luana is passionate about student advocacy and believes in the power of leadership through service. She is dedicated to promoting equity in higher education, supporting other students, and fostering inclusive environments. In her free time, Luana enjoys exploring new cultures, hiking, and volunteering, further enriching her understanding of diverse perspectives.
