Fritz
Campus Organizing Director
he/him
Fritz got his start in community organizing while at university doing what he calls “Seat of My Pants” organizing: He had no idea what he was doing. He worked on many campaigns, from attempting to unionize his workplace to fighting for safer dorms for transgender students. These experiences taught him a lot about building power and relationships and activated his passion for helping people help themselves.
Though he has done a lot of organizing since then, he joins LeadMN from a most recent position at Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, where he organized people of faith to fight for more affordable housing in Minnesota, with a special emphasis on youth homelessness. He is beyond excited to come back to organizing on college campuses, this time with training and experience under his belt.
When he is not organizing, Fritz can be found clown shopping, sewing, or preparing for the (many) Jewish holidays throughout the year.
