Saint Paul College

she/her

Fatima Duba attends Saint Paul College and is pursuing a degree in psychology with a specific interest in clinical research. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and also an active member of WeThrive, a fellowship program on her campus.

Fatima was drawn to Higher Education Advocacy due to the challenges she experienced trying to understand all the legislative changes that were impacting her education. She sought out guidance and understanding which led to her involvement in Higher Education advocacy with LeadMN. Soon thereafter, she had the opportunity to travel and share her story at Capitol Hill during the 2025 DC Student Summit. This positive experience led to her applying to be a Policy Intern in hopes of supporting other students like herself who are also navigating through challenging circumstances. She aspires to empower students in raising their voices and sharing their stories.

While Higher Education advocacy is a huge part of Fatima’s work, she is also involved in affordable housing advocacy, which aims to make affordable housing truly affordable. Outside of school and work, Fatima prioritizes self care by reconnecting with nature and is often found basking in the sun with a good book. You can also find her creating art, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
