she/her
Casey Snaza joined LeadMN’s team as Campus Organizing Director in July 2024. Casey has years of experience working with young people in a variety of service settings including program management of a youth drop-in center, case management for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC youth, and case management in the Hennepin County Medical Center Emergency Department.
Through her work Casey has implemented equitable policies to eliminate barriers to affordable housing, increase access to basic necessities, and develop a harm reduction and person centered approach to services. Casey has emphasized the importance of healing a community through working together as a community. She has shown this through the numerous coalitions she has served on including Street Works Collaborative and Heading Home Anoka Housing Committee as an executive committee member.
She studied for her Masters of Social Work with a specialization in community practice at the University of Minnesota. In her free time she is spending time with her two marvelous pups and taking time to be outside, hopefully on a lake.
