With over two decades of nonprofit leadership, Carin brings a wealth of experience to her role as Development Director at LeadMN. In her role as Artistic Director of Theatre Pro Rata, Carin was known for her relational leadership style, and excelled in building strong donor relationships and fostering inclusive communities. Particularly skilled in strategic planning and event production, Carin thrives in dynamic environments and is always ready to tackle new challenges with optimism and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Now at LeadMN, Carin is excited to apply her skills to support college students. With roots as a teaching artist, she is passionate about education and empowerment, and is committed to helping students thrive by ensuring access to the resources and support needed to succeed. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, Carin looks forward to working towards the mission of fostering growth, building meaningful connections, and creating opportunities for students to reach their full potential. In her free time Carin is a Minnesota State Fair Blue Ribbon winning knitter and enjoys all sorts of activities, including playing tuba in her brass quintet, leading her daughter’s Girl Scout Brownie Troop, camping in MN State Parks, and training their two dogs, Harry and Hazel, to be their best doggy selves.
