Andrea is a passionate creative and storyteller with a background as a reporter, editor, events planner, magazine creator, and designer whose work has focused on empowerment and equity through communication and engagement. She joins LeadMN from Longfellow Community Council where she focused on building a strategic communications program, equitable engagement, and creating lasting relationships within the community.

Andrea graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism and completed a graduate-level program in Publishing at the University of Denver. Andrea is a printmaker and writer who loves to garden, read, watch movies, and hang with her cat. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Andrea is glad to call Minneapolis home (again).
