What is the deadline to order tickets?
The deadline for registering for Sponsorship packages is Dec 15 (individual names can be RSVPed up until Dec 27). General Admission tickets will be available until Dec 27.
What should I wear?
It’s a party! Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Perhaps that’s ‘Business Casual” or “Party Attire.” Note that you can join in playing fun carnival games and painting activities, if you’d like.
In the past I’ve stayed in a nearby hotel, is that an option this year?
Yes, we have a bank of rooms available at a discounted rate at the Holiday Inn, St Paul Downtown. You can either follow this booking link or call 651-225-1515 and book under the “Lead MN Scholarship Celebration” group. DISCOUNTED COST ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH DECEMBER 15TH!
I’m driving, where should I park?
We will have complimentary parking available in the St Paul College West Lot. Park there, don’t leave anything valuable in your car, and enter through the West Entrance. Then follow the signage and directions into the college and towards the City View Grille.
I’m taking public transportation, which stop is closest?
The nearest bus stop to St. Paul College is John Ireland & Marshall Station. It’s a 2 min walk away. The following transit lines have routes that pass near St. Paul College:
Bus: 21, 3, 63, 67, 62
Light Rail: METRO GREEN LINE – Capitol/Rice St Station
Will there be gluten free, halal, and vegetarian options available in the buffet?
Yes! Please email if you have a different dietary requirement that we should consider.
Are there discounts available?
Yes! Actively enrolled students of any kind can purchase the Student Ticket (which is 50% off the General Admission Ticket). 2024 Scholarship Recipients and Art Market Artists receive complimentary tickets. Please email for more information.
What can the drink tickets be used for?
Drink tickets can be exchanged for beer, wine, and our signature mocktail: The LeadMN. A full cash bar is also available.

The Art Market
New this year! We have an Art Market in which student artists will have pieces available for sale. 70% of the proceeds goes directly to the student artists, the other 30% goes towards LeadMN Scholarships.
The Silent Auction
The Silent Auction you know and love is back. Sneak peeks and online bidding opens Jan 1, and bidding closes at 8:30PM CT on Jan 10, 2025.
Carnival Games
Use your raffle tickets to play Plinko, Punch Out, or Spin the Wheel and win fun prizes…. Anything from a Taco Bell coupon to a Smart Watch!
Scavenger Hunt
Complete a scavenger hunt and win a prize.
Communal Mural
Together we will paint a single, large paint by number canvas. We will have fun making art together! The finished piece will be on display at the LeadMN offices.
Speed Dating Painting
Find a partner and work together on two canvases, swapping your artwork every minute. You can take home your paintings when you’re done!
Mask Painting
Want to work on a solo project? Express yourself by painting a paper mache mask that you can take home at the end of the night.
Coloring Pages
Don’t want to paint but still want to make some art? Coloring pages and pencils are available at every table.
What about the entertainment?
We are thrilled to have local jazz musician Leslie Vincent and her band entertaining us with live music throughout the evening.
