Advocacy Day

Join students from across Minnesota’s two-year community and technical colleges for our 2026 Advocacy Day, a day of action at the Minnesota State Capitol. This is your opportunity to speak directly with legislators, share your story, and advocate for the issues that matter most to students across our state.

We will spend the morning at Christ on Capitol Hill Church, providing training around our priority policy platforms and preparing for our afternoon legislator meetings. Breakfast and Lunch are provided!

We’ll be at the State Capitol and interfacing with our legislators, so please dress in a business casual or professional attire. This typically includes khakis or trousers, dress shirt or blouse, open collar or polo shirt, dress or skirt, blazer, knit top or sweater and clean but comfortable shoes for walking around the Capitol. Dress coats and ties option.

Please do not wear ripped jeans or clothing, graphic t-shirts, or short shorts or skirts. We will be walking from Saint Paul College so dress warmly and appropriately for a short walk.

If access to more formal or business casual apparel is an issue, please reach out to us and we can work with you to find something or talk through other options.
