Step One

Student submits ticket and provides the Transfer Advocate with as much detail as possible regarding their issue with Transfer Pathways.

Step Two

The Transfer Advocate reviews and records ticket then writes a detailed summary in their own words. Included in the summary will be follow-up questions for the student.

Step Three

The Transfer Advocate will reach out and schedule a phone call or in-person meeting with the student.

Step Four

A phone call or in-person meeting will occur.  The Transfer Advocate will keep detailed notes, ask follow-up questions, and press for clarity if necessary. Following, the Transfer Advocate will provide a written summary to the student for their records.

Step Five

Based on the student’s submitted ticket and subsequent follow-up conversation, the Transfer Advocate will research their issue. This may include looping in other stakeholders like Minnesota State, transfer specialists, and faculty depending on the nature of the issue.

Step Six

Resolution achieved through collaboration with institution(s) in question and if necessary via mediation.
