Why celebrate NVRD?
Registering to vote is easy! It helps you become civically engaged and part of a larger community. Voting can influence issues that impact you directly, from college affordability to racial equity to food insecurity.
First celebrated in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan holiday that involves thousands of organizations and volunteers working together to ensure their family, friends, and neighbors are registered to vote and ready to cast a ballot. This year, National Voter Registration Day will be celebrated September 28, 2021.
