Last week, Mameneh started as the Manager of Equity and Inclusion. Mameneh's role is to help build a culture of inclusion within LeadMN, help students develop cultural competency skills, and advance social change within higher education that addresses the opportunity gap in Minnesota.

Minnesota State College and University faculty have nominated students who are well-deserving to receive the Mark M. Welter World Citizen Award. Twenty-four students will receive the $500 Mark M. Welter World Citizen Award for 2021 Spring Semester!

Today marks the 50th Anniversary that Minnesota ratified the 26th Amendment—the amendment that guaranteed 18-year-olds the right to vote in all US elections and outlawed age discrimination among eligible voters.

Mental health is becoming a growing crisis among college students that is impacting their academic andco-curricular success. The Covid-19 pandemic has only exacerbated and accelerated that crisis.

Looking for help with paying for college? LeadMN scholarships are a great way to cover some of the cost of your tuition bill. Scholarships are offered to any Minnesota community college or university student in the amount of $500 to $5,000.

As enrollment continues to decline at Minnesota’s public higher education institutions, more needs to bedone to boost enrollment and ensure that Minnesota has the educated workforce necessary to meet thestates needs in the 21st century.
