scholarshipStudents are one of the largest voting blocks and have the power to decide the next leaders. But our vote will also decide on whether college is affordable. Whether students basic needs are being met. Are we getting mental health support on campus? Are we getting help to address food insecurity? 

This election isn’t just about the candidates. It’s about you, your vote, and your power to create a better future.

Make a plan on how you’ll vote in the 2020 election (you don’t have to wait until November 3)!

Make a plan to vote + upload a photo with your voting plan card by November 1 and you’ll be entered for a $5,000 scholarship or win one of the 50 $100 gift cards.

Step 1: Make sure you are registered to Vote

Before you make your plan, take 2 minutes to make sure you registered to vote at your current address.

Step 2: Fill out Your Voting Plan Card 

Take a few minutes to plan our how you will vote. Will you be voting early in person, by mail or on Election Day. Just print out the card here and fill it out.

Step 3: Upload a Photo of You and Your Card (see example below)

Scroll down to upload a photo of you with the voting plan card you made or printed. You’ll be all set to cast your vote and you’ll enter for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship and $5,000 in other prizes! Take a look at the contest rules below.

Deadline - November 1, 2020 at 11:59 PM


  • Submit a picture of you and your completed voting plan.
  • Current student at a College or University in Minnesota.
  • No minimum GPA requirement.
  • If you are not eligible to vote, you can still participate if you take a picture of your plan to urge others to go out and vote.

The scholarship drawing will happen on November 2 and the winners will be notified that day. They will receive their prize once they show a current student ID to confirm that they are a student.  We will give individuals 72 hours to show proof that they are a student and then the prize will be awarded to someone else. Notifications will happen via email and/or txt message.
