Minnesota led the nation in youth voter engagement in 2018. College and Universities will come together to develop action plans to keep Minnesota on top.
Listen from state and national experts on best practices to engage students in voting and ways that they can have their voice heard in 2020. Then campus based teams will develop a campus based action plan that energizes students in the 2020 election.
Agenda
- There will be ten different workshops on bringing an equity lens to voter engagement, to partnering with faculty, to how to make voting fun, to national efforts like +1Vote and Ask Everyone.
- Campus teams will develop voting action plans and pitching those plans to get funding to support that work.
