Ah Vang-Lo (she/her)
Ah has 15 years of experience in nonprofit and higher ed. with a specific focus on equity work through youth leadership development with multicultural and underserved populations. Growing up in the Twin Cities as a first-generation American born Hmong woman, with parents who were refugees, has rooted her in her cultural identity and motivation toward social justice. Ah attended the University of MN-TC where she received her B.S. and M. Ed. in Elementary Education. In her free time, she enjoys spending it with her family watching movies and sewing Hmong “paj ntaub.”
R.T. Rybak (he/him)
R.T. Rybak served as the Mayor of Minneapolis from 2002-2014. As mayor, Rybak focused mostly on reducing crime, creating jobs, building affordable housing, and balancing the city budget. After his time as Mayor, he served as the Executive Director of Generation Next and now serves as the President and CEO of the Minneapolis Foundation.
