Marco Lanz is a 2005 graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After a stint with Target Corporation, he moved to China, living and working from 2007 through 2013 as an Educator and Foreign Expert.
Upon returning to Minnesota, Marco took positions with the Minnesota House of Representatives and the House DFL Caucus, where he field managed two successful re-election campaigns. In 2015, Marco joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN) as Legislative Affairs Coordinator, where he was responsible for monitoring legislation impacting Minnesota’s Healthcare and Insurance industries, researching public health policy issues, and supporting BCBSMN’s grassroots advocacy efforts.
For fun, Marco enjoys spending time with his wife, Huaying, and their two dogs, Turkey and Shorty. He is also an avid runner and cyclist, and during the summers can be found roaming the Twin Cities’ various disc golf courses.
