About the Event

Are you concerned about food insecurity on your campus? Join LeadMN and anti-hunger partners at the capitol on Thursday, February 27 as we work together to put ending hunger in Minnesota at the top of the Legislature’s to-do list.

Thanks to the wonderful work of student leaders the Hunger Free Campus Act was passed in 2019 giving a roadmap for colleges to work towards with the goal of reducing food insecurity. Now it's time for us to go back to the capitol to ensure that the Hunger Free Campus Act receives funding so that all campuses can be supported in their work to end college hunger.

Event includes:

• Prepare and practice speaking on key issues including Hunger Free Campuses.
• Visit with your legislators (meetings will be set up for you)
• Light lunch provided

Registration

Register by Friday, February 17 at 11:59 PM (meetings with legislators are not guaranteed).

Location

Meet at Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill, 105 University Ave W, Saint Paul, MN 55103
