TELL US ABOUT YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND.

I graduated with my Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. My focus was in Maternal & Child Health. After completing school, I worked for many years as a Health Educator doing sexual and reproductive health education with middle and high school students. During this time I discovered my passion for youth work and pursued working in youth development with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Twin Cities. There I was able to work with teens on college and career readiness programming. I continued to do youth work with other local non-profit organizations and recently worked as a Youth Specialist at the Youth Connection Center in Minneapolis. I've had extensive training in project management through various positions and managed the office operations at the Youth Connection Center.

WHAT INTERESTED YOU IN WORKING FOR LEADMN AND WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING ON?

The opportunity to put my skills to use, to grow and learn, and to support students as they pursue their dreams were the reasons I wanted to work at LEADMN. I'm looking forward to how I can support all projects, but specifically the Basic Needs team.

WHAT INTERESTS DO YOU HAVE OUTSIDE OF WORK?

I enjoy writing, drawing, painting, dancing, reading, walking, running watching Tiktoks & Youtube videos, and spending time with my family and fiends.
