My name is Kayley and I LeadMN because I see the greatness in our students. I shared my story with over 70 amazing students from around the state last weekend, in hopes of inspiring them to be the best they can be.

I am so thrilled, so proud, but certainly not at all surprised to announce that 24 student leaders were elected and appointed to represent their peers at the statewide level. Congratulations, and thank you for your willingness to serve the students of Minnesota! (See below for full list).

We still have five open committees! These are great opportunities for networking, leadership development, and resume enhancement. Please consider applying and/or sharing this information with students on your campus.

  • Faculty Development Committee – Great opportunity for students interested in education and teaching!
  • Graduate Education Committee – Great opportunity for students interested in going on to graduate school.
  • Academic Equity Committee – Great opportunity for students interested in equity and inclusion as it relates to academia.
  • Learning Environment Committee – Great opportunity for students interested in technology!
  • Minnesota Office of Higher Education Student Advisory Council – Great opportunity for a technical college student to represent their peers at a statewide level!

Find more about these committees, check the meeting schedules, and apply!
